Creating exquisite hand-crafted lighting & furniture destined for the worlds most luxurious interiors, Porta Romana’s digital space needed to be equally as beautiful as their products. Porta Romana appointed AW&CO to assess their digital presence and advise on its future direction. Through an in-depth discovery process, interviewing all major stakeholders and customers alike, we devised a digital strategy that would drive the digital presence for the brand whilst providing partners with a fluid product discovery experience and exposing new customers to the history & unique craftsmanship behind this British brand.
Our digital strategy and new digital showroom for Porta Romana offers a unique destination to experience the world of Porta Romana and follow the journey from the intricate craftsmanship through to the final polished product.
The site we produced gives Porta Romana’s in-house digital team full control over all editorial & product content on the site, in addition to being fully integrated into their third-party CRM. A partners area of the website was also introduced exclusively for interior designers, allowing them to create scheme boards to share with their clients and access trade updates. To better serve Porta Romana’s growing global presence the site is fully localised & translated in multiple languages & currencies.
In addition to implementing the new website, we also designed & developed a new iPad app which gives Porta Romana’s sales agents the ability to browse their entire product catalogue whether on or offline, once again all powered by their content management system.
Insights gained throughout the implementation of Porta Romana's digital showroom formed the basis for ongoing consulting on the brand’s digital, content and social strategy on an ongoing basis which, in turn, will ensure consistency in visuals, tone and the brand’s image execution across all channels of communication.
